Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Two-hour rescue operation to help teenage who fell into Blairgowrie gorge

A two-hour rescue operation was carried out near Blairgowrie earlier this week after a teenager fell into a gorge.Emergency services raced to the scene at Cargill’s Leap on Monday evening after receiving reports of a person “in difficulty”.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two units and firefighters attended with special appliances, including water and line rescue equipment.The fire crews assisted Blairgowrie-based Tayside Mountain Rescue in the operation and the person was extracted safely within a couple of hours.They were then taken to hospital.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.31pm on Monday, July 10, to reports of a person in difficulty at Cargill’s Leap, Blairgowrie.“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and a number of specialist resources, including water and line rescue to the area where firefighters assisted Mountain Rescue in the rescue of one casualty who had fallen down an embankment.“Crews left the scene at 9.30pm once the casualty had been brought to land.”A statement from Tayside Mountain Rescue read: “The team was called out last night [Monday] to work alongside our colleagues at SFRS with the complex extraction of a teenager who had fallen into a gorge in the Blairgowrie area.“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.“If you require Mountain Rescue, phone 999, ask for the police, then mountain rescue.”They added: “The Tayside Mountain Rescue team is made up entirely of volunteers who live in the operational area.“A wide variety of professions can be found in the team.
