Harry Styles has made history by welcoming Scotland's largest ever live audience at his Edinburgh show on Saturday evening.  The former One Direction star broke the record at the Scotland rugby team's Murrayfield Stadium, where more than 65,000 fans converged to watch his performance on May 27.  Styles, 29, also welcomed tens of thousands to his preceding show in the Scottish capital on Friday May 26, but Saturday set a benchmark as the biggest audience for a musical performance in the country's history.

Arctic Monkeys have teamed up with The Big Issue for the official programme of their first UK stadium tour, which begins tonight (May 29).In support of new album ‘The Car’, the band will play 15 dates across the UK and Ireland over the next month, including two hometown gigs at Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park and three at London’s Emirates Stadium.Ahead of the tour beginning at Bristol’s Ashton Gate tonight, the band have confirmed that they have teamed up with The Big Issue for the official programme for the tour, with all proceeds going to the homelessness charity.An announcement from the publication reads: “The 36 page programme with a long lasting and collectible heavy cover, features brand-new never before seen images of the band on the road plus an in-depth interview with the band’s beating heart, drummer Matt Helders.”Discussing the band’s wish to support the publication’s work, Helders told The Big Issue: “The obvious reason is the good work you do… but it’s not just that. Love Island star Maura Higgins was reportedly left shaken after three masked men attempted to raid her house on Wednesday.The reality star is said to be upping security after the incident, which saw three men in masks shaking and ramming her metal gates until they managed to rip them down, before entering her property and attempting to steal a number of vehicles. Police were called to the incident, which was captured by her neighbours’ CCTV cameras, and Maura has been said to be left feeling unsafe at home following the attempted robbery.

The unions — representing hotel workers, teachers and state employees — shared the stage across from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. with representatives from the Hollywood guilds. “It’s going to be a hot labor summer,” said Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, executive director of SAG-AFTRA. “Your fight is our fight. Our fight is your fight. We are all in this together.” SAG-AFTRA has called a strike authorization vote as it looks to gain leverage for its negotiations, which begin on June 7. The SAG-AFTRA contract expires on June 30.

There’s a sweet-souled directness to his sad prole stare, and he treats his customers, some of whom he has known since they were in grade school together, with quiet affection and respect. But the pub is falling apart, and the property values in the neighborhood have plunged. TJ is barely scraping by serving pints of bitters.

The indie streamer and distributor has also picked up the movie for the U.K., Ireland, Latin America and Turkey. The competition title from the Finnish auteur had a number of bidders following its world premiere on Monday. MUBI will release the film theatrically, with specific release plans to be announced in due course. “Fallen Leaves” is the 20th film from Kaurismäki, who previously won the Grand Prix and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury for his film “The Man Without A Past,” which went on to be nominated for the best international feature Oscar in 2003.
