UK's Storm Barra 'weather bomb' ravages Brits as flood alerts issued after power cuts

Storm Barra this week is set to get worse today as flooding is predicted to follow disastrous power cuts.It comes after the nation was blasted yet again yesterday after strong 86mph winds, torrential rain, and heavy snow affected every corner of the British Isles, causing localised flooding and travel disruption.Over in Ireland, 50,000 homes have been left without power, only a matter of days after Storm Arwen plunged scores of villages in Scotland and Northumberland into darkness.And now 76 new flood warnings and alerts have been issued by the Environment Agency across the north and south of England for Wednesday, as it is feared a 'perfect' mix of conditions is turning the storm into a so-called 'weather bomb'.The Environmental Agency has
