The next tower that will dominate Manchester's skyline
manchestereveningnews.co.ukWhen it's finished, the views over Manchester city centre and beyond for hundreds of miles will be breathtaking. Standing at more than 550ft-high, Tower D2 will dominate the city centre's skyline as one of Manchester's tallest buildings, together with its near neighbours.
Construction started last year and now the scheme's project monitors have revealed with aplomb it's entered the 'superstructure' phase.
Above-ground works are underway in earnest, with the latest images showing a concrete frame beginning to rise above the surface and getting taller all the time.
The frame will now continue to be built upwards towards the sky.
