One of Emmerdale's legendary characters was seen being given a heartbreaking diagnosis which could lead to a surprise exit for the big star.
During Wednesday night's trip to the Dales (November 1), viewers saw Lydia Dingle's lock-in at the Woolpack continue. Lydia has been quizzing her family in the pub following the discovery of her rapist Craig Reed's body in a field.
She suspects it must be one of them who has killed her former childhood acquaintance after he raped her - before denying it - in shock scenes.
One by one, the Dingles have been having to give an alibi but each one is keeping a secret that hasn't got anything to do with Criag, including Mandy who knows that Eric Pollard has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
