A caravan park has been evacuated amid warnings Storm Ciarán will cause a "significant risk to life." A severe flood warning has been issued for the area around River Ritec, near Tenby in South Wales.

It extends to the Kiln Park caravan site which has already experienced some flooding ahead of the coming storm. According to Natural Resources Wales, many guests have already left the site, and the flooding is expected to worsen due to the potentially record-breaking levels of rainfall set to come over the next few days.

After releasing the warning, as reported by North Wales Live, NRW added: "Significant risk to life and disruption to the community is expected for the next high tides.
