The Great British Bake Off pulled from screens next week in schedule shake-up

Fans of The Great British Bake Off will be forced to wait a while longer to see the remaining bakers battle it out in the iconic tent as the programme is being pulled from screens next week in a schedule shake-up set to leave viewers disappointed.The hit show on Channel 4 usually airs every Tuesday at 8pm, however will be moved from its usual slot next week due to the international football coverage of England's match against Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifiers which will air 7pm until 10.15pm.Instead Bake Off fans will need to wait an extra day to get their fix, but don't worry hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding will return to screens on Wednesday, October 18 at 8pm, a day later than normal.People recently tuned in for iconic bread week, as the bakers got hot under the collar in a bid to win over 'Bread King' judge Paul Hollywood alongside co-judge Prue Leith.

It was a sad goodbye for contestant Abbi, who brought a different twist to the show this year by foraging most of her own ingredients each week as she became emotional at her departure from the competition.Meanwhile, next week's episode will bring chocolate week as the remaining candidates take on a tricky chocolate torte signature and a cheesecake technical challenge.
