Viewers of ITV's This Morning have predicted who they think will replace Holly Willoughby after her shock exit - and have made calls for a certain duo to return to the sofa.

The presenter, 42, announced she would not be returning to the popular TV show after 14 years in a social media post on Tuesday (October 10) saying: “I have to make this decision for me and my family”.

It comes days after a man was charged over an alleged plot to kidnap and murder the TV star. Gavin Plumb, 36, has been remanded in custody after being charged with soliciting a man named David Nelson to commit murder, and incitement to commit kidnap between October 2 and 5 in Harlow, Essex.
