Loose Women chaos as Ruth Langsford halts show and orders studio to be evacuated
On Tuesday's episode of Loose Women, drama unfolded when Ruth Langsford unexpectedly had to halt the broadcast. The panel was deep in a chat with EastEnders icon Charlie Brooks about her exciting new challenge on Dancing on Ice when suddenly Ruth interjected, "I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to stop you there and to everybody else, we are going to have to take a break." In the midst of Charlie sharing why she's lacing up her skates, Ruth announced: "I've just been told that we've got a fire alarm going off in the building." As the trademark Loose Women theme tune kicked in, astonishment echoed from Charlie, while Ruth clarified: "Obviously, protocol dictates that we need to leave the studio." However, producers then informed Ruth it was a false alarm as she held her ear piece and said: "Oh no! I've just been told it's all fine now. Don't panic!" With laughter rippling through the audience, Ruth attempted to steer back to their talk with a surprised Charlie who exclaimed: "Ok, that was dramatic! Oh my goodness." Ruth playfully suggested it was all part of prepping her for the rink theatrics ahead.
