The star praised the 2022 presenters, revealing that the comedy duo of Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding had a lot of banter with the contestants and helped keep them calm when things got stressful in the tent. “Matt and Noel were needed for those little moments where you needed to take a little breather and have some banter.” “It’s a signal that something has gone wrong in your bake if they just pop up because they and the camera crew want to capture what’s gone wrong," he added.
