For many years now Daniel Lopatin, a.k.a. Oneohtrix Point Never, has been involved in the world of TV and movie music, notably scoring the Safdie brothers' movies Good Time and Uncut Gems.
Now he can add Star Wars to his resume. On Thursday (May 4, Star Wars Day) he dropped a collection of music recorded for the Disney+ animated series Star Wars: Visions Vol.
2. You can check it out below. Last year, Lopatin contributed “The Viewing Suite” to the soundtrack to Guillermo Del Toro’s Netflix series Cabinet of Curiosities.
He is also a key collaborator of The Weeknd, working with him on recent albums After Hours and Dawn FM as well as his 2021 Super Bowl half-time show.
