Emergency services swarmed a Stockport street following reports a person had fallen into a reservoir. Firefighters and police were sent out to Dale Street, in Edgeley, last night (August 31).

It was believed that a person had entered the Sykes Reservoir. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large emergency response to the incident at around 11pm.

Several fire engines, ambulances and incident response units were all in attendance.
