Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo has joined Manchester City duo Phil Foden and Erling Haaland on an eight-man shortlist for the Premier League's Young Player of the Year award.
Mainoo has enjoyed an outstanding breakthrough campaign for United this season, providing a ray of light in what has been a miserable season for the club as a collective.
He has been a key fixture within manager Erik ten Hag's plans, cementing his place in United's midfield since missing the start of the season though injury.
In total, the England international has made 21 Premier League appearances this season, scoring two goals. His maiden league goal secured a dramatic 4-3 triumph over Wolves at Molineux in February.
