Demand for Nike and Adidas keep profits at JD Sports on track to pass £1billion

Profits at JD Sports are on track to pass £1billion after demand for Nikes, Adidas and other branded footwear and apparel has continued to push up its sales.

The Greater Manchester-headquartered group has reported a revenue of £4.7billion for the six months to July 29, 2023, up from £4.4billion during the same period in 2022.

Its pre-tax profits have also increased from £298.3million to £375.2million. JD Sports added that it is on track to open over 200 new stores across the world by January 2024.
