Travel disruption expected as no diversions to be put in place during five-day Lanarkshire road closure

Coatbridge motorists are warned they face travel disruption as there won't be any diversions available during a five-day road closure next week.The town's Earlston Crescent will be shut between Hawick Drive and Kirkton Crescent from February 20-24.This is to allow for carriageway resurfacing and while there are no alternative routes on offer to drivers, pedestrians will be able to use the road "where practical".The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
