Whooping cough is on the rise in the UK as experts have warned about the dangers of '100-day cough' for babies and children.Cases of the highly contagious bacterial infection have spiked.
Data from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) shows there have been 716 suspected infections in England and Wales between July and November - a 250 percent rise when compared to last year.The NHS says whooping cough can make babies and young children in particular very ill.
