The Good Morning Britain presenter, 56, was seen outside a Tesco store in north London with bags filled with groceries. Despite her husband's hospitalisation, Kate looked to be in the festive spirit as she sported a jumper featuring glittery baubles and a classic red Santa hat.The mum-of-two also wore a long shimmery pleated skirt and white patent boots on the outing.
Kate is understood have spent Christmas Day in hospital with her husband Derek, 56, after he reportedly suffered a heart attack.
Reports alleging Derek had suffered a heart attack emerged on 16 December. A source told The Sun: "Derek suffered a massive heart attack earlier this week which has left him fighting for his life all over again. "It was sudden and a shock as he had been doing so well and was in great spirits, looking forward to Christmas at home with the family.This setback has been a huge blow for his family and all the people caring for him.
