Jamie Dornan has revealed that he had an unsettling experience with a stalker. The Irish actor told The Independent that a Fifty Shades Of Grey fan turned up at his front door in an incident that took place before the pandemic. “I had a situation… a stalker-type situation before Covid.

That was f***ing scary. Someone turned up at my house when my kids were there,” he said. Dornan discussed the experience after being asked about Fifty Shades fan conspiracies, which include a theory about him and Dakota Johnson being a real-life couple with a secret brood of children.

In reality, Dornan is married to Amelia Warner, a composer and former actress. They have three daughters together. “I tried to put walls up around [the fans], to really try and not let that in,” Dornan told The Independent. “I’m pretty good at just blocking any of the noise associated with whatever fandom is – not letting it affect me, or more importantly my family.” Dornan, who is starring in the second season of BBC drama The Tourist from January 1, has previously attempted to get into the mind of a stalker in preparation for playing serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall.
