Love Island's Faye Winter responds to cosy pics with Sammy Root after Jess Harding split
ok.co.ukLove Island’s Faye Winter has responded after pictures appeared to show her cosying up to the newly-single Sammy Root at an awards show.
Faye, 28, looked stunning in a black dress as she gave Sammy a hug, who was wearing a burgundy suit. However, Faye has now said that she was just saying “goodbye” to the 2023 Love Island winner, as she slammed the rumours.
Replying to an Instagram post from The Sun newspaper about the pics, she commented: “Or I’m just saying goodbye to someone.” Faye went on to add: “I’ll have a school register by the end of the year with the amount of people you have me 'cosying up with.'” The photos come just a week after it was confirmed that 22 year old Sammy had split from Jess Harding, who he won the show with at the end of July.
Their shock split came after a source told Mail Online: "Jess and Sammy have called it quits.Things have changed since leaving the villa and Jess has realised they're better off as friends.” Just a day later, Jess confirmed the split adding that she was “sad” during a question and answer session on Instagram.
