Lanarkshire motorists are being warned of potential delays ahead of roadworks on the M74 near Hamilton.Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking snagging works on the bridge joints of the M74 northbound at Junction 6 from Monday, May 29, until Wednesday, May 31.Work will take place overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Traffic intending to utilise this off-slip road will be diverted via Junction 5 at Raith Interchange. Diversion routes will be signed.Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
