Lanarkshire dad suffers broken foot and loses three toenails during Edinburgh Marathon fundraising run

A determined Lanarkshire man was put through the wringer during the Edinburgh Marathon as he suffered a broken foot and lost three toenails along the way.

But Lee Dornan didn't let his physical ailments get in the way of completing the 26.2-mile race to raise funds for humanitarian charity SCIAF (Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund).

As previously reported by Lanarkshire Live, Coatbridge dad Lee, who is an accountant for SCIAF, was signed up for the capital occasion by a work colleague.
