Audit Scotland has paused a childcare policy which has helped over 5000 kids in South Lanarkshire.The independent watchdog has praised the Scottish Government for the implementation of its free childcare expansion policy.Audit Scotland said that the majority of infrastructure projects and recruitment required to implement the 1,140-hour expansion for three and four year olds and eligible two year olds has been successfully completed.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
