Rutherglen school performs great in national quiz representing South Lanarkshire

A Rutherglen-based primary school that won South Lanarkshire heat makes a great showing in a national quiz hosted in Scotland's capital.Bankhead Primary School’s primary six pupils finished in eighth position in the Scottish European Educational Trust’s EuroQuiz in the McEwan Hall at the University of Edinburgh this month.The team represented South Lanarkshire after they defeated a host of other worthy schools to claim the honour of facing school’s from each of the other 32 council areas in Scotland.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
