Marvellous midwife goes above and beyond to support Lanarkshire mum

A marvellous midwife has been thanked for going beyond the call of duty.NHS Lanarkshire worker Kirsty Robson was nominated for this week’s Wishaw Press’ Say it with Flowers Award by mum-of-six Joanne Menzies from Craigneuk.Joanne’s baby son Alfie was born on May 4 and she wanted to thank Kirsty for being there for her, even when she wasn’t working.“I’ve only known Kirsty for my nine months of pregnancy, since October last year when I was allocated to her," said Joanne.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
