The Princess of Wales often impressively stands in high heels for hours at a time while making public appearances during royal engagements.To ensure maximum comfortability, etiquette expert Myka Meier claims that Kate has a few styling tricks to make sure nothing goes wrong when wearing her stilettos.

The style expert revealed that the royal wears non-slip tights to prevent her feet from slipping out of her heels, which retail at £6 in John Lewis.

The sheer stockings feature gel strips on the bottom of each foot which purposely grip to the sole of the shoes.The mum-of-three seemed to be spotted wearing the tights while on a royal tour of Canada in July 2011, the Express reports.The photo of the future Queen shows clear, gel-like trips peeking out over the side of the Princess' pointed toe Tabitha Simmons heels.Myka also told Insider that Kate has been known to wear Alice Bow insoles created by British designer Rachel Bowditch.According to Alice Bow's website, the slip-in leather soles are specifically designed to cushion your feet to enable you to wear any shoes including high heels for hours.An unnamed source told Vanity Fair's royal correspondent Kate Nicholl in 2015 that Kate had "ordered a couple of packets" of the Alice Bow insoles, as “she thinks they are great”.At the time, a spokesperson for Alice Bow told Vanity Fair that the company would not be responding to any "talk of the [then] Duchess wearing [its] insoles."The spokesperson added: "We have seen a massive surge in site visits, however.”As well as buying padded tights and insoles, Kate is understood to buy a pair of heels in three different sizes, a five, a 5.5 and a six as the best fit varies from brand to brand.It's most likely that Kate sizes up her
