Bruce Willis' wife makes heartbreaking admission as he continues to battle dementia

Bruce Willis’ heartbroken wife Emma Heming Willis has made a tearful admission after the acting legend was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Last year, the 68-year-old's family announced that they were given the diagnosis by doctors, after initially suffering from the language disorder aphasia, writes the Mirror.Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore, their three children Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, along with Emma and their daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, all made a joint statement announcing that the Hollywood star would be retiring from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia.And in February sadly, they confirmed that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, and Bruce was being cared for by medical professionals and loved ones as the Willis brood dealt with the after-effects of his diagnosis.

Emma, Bruce’s wife of 14 years, has been the primary carer for The Sixth Sense actor, and often posts updates on his wellbeing, as well as her own, on social media.

And today, she candidly shared the struggles she faced as Bruce’s “care partner”, and said while it’s been “doom and gloom” behind closed doors, she had to put her “best foot forward”.She explained: “I know it looks like I’m out living my best life - I have to make a conscious effort every single day to live the best life that I can."She went on to tell her fans that she wasn’t feeling “good”, but was really trying to get through each day for the sake of her family, and revealed her worries over other people thinking she was doing fine when the reality of her personal life was very different.She began to cry: "I do that for myself.
