One injured in Glasgow crash as person rushed to hospital

A person has been rushed to hospital following a crash in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to the Duke Street area of the city just before midday on June 1 following reports of a serious incident.Two ambulances, a special operations response team (SORT), a trauma team and multiple police vehicles were dispatched to the street that links the city centre to the east end.

It is understood they were responding to a road traffic crash. Glasgow Live reports that a person was taken from the scene to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Their condition is currently unknown.The road was shut for a time to allow emergency services to work but has since re-opened.
