Netflix subscribers ask 'why' as 'wild' animated film returns to site
manchestereveningnews.co.ukAn adult animated film critics branded 'offensive' has been added to Netflix - again. Subscribers were left baffled when Sausage Party, originally released in cinemas in 2016, returned to the streaming service this August.
The comedy follows the lives of food items as they discover what life is like outside the confines of their American supermarket home.
The film, which is rated 18, stars Seth Rogan as the voice of Frank, a sausage, and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Brenda, a hot dog bun who is also Frank's love interest.

The controversial film, which features sexual themes, managed to rack up a critics' score of 82 percent on review site Rotten Tomatoes.
