A tip-off led to police raiding two cannabis farms filled with plants on a Greater Manchester estate. Officers discovered 'multiple rooms' filled with plants as they searched two properties on Chapel Road and Halliwell Road, yards away from one another near Rainsough Brow, in Prestwich.
Images shared by Greater Manchester Police show rooms with lamps, fans and wires dangling from the walls, above dozens of cannabis plants being grown.
GMP says one person was arrested at the scene. A spokesperson for GMP Bury South posted on Facebook: "As a result of intelligence led policing, two simultaneous warrants were executed on Thursday, November 2 2023.
Prestwich neighbourhood police officers entered addresses on Chapel Road and Halliwell Road in Prestwich.
