BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'do you know' as they make same quip seconds into Blackpool special

It didn't take long for Strictly Come Dancing fans to flock to social media as the hit competition returns to screens. On Saturday night (November 18), the seven remaining couples will continue to fight for their place in the competition in the hope of lifting the Glitterball trophy in the grand final next month.

But there was a major difference this week as the couples, hosts, and judge weren't in the usual Elstree studio ballroom. As per the show's annual tradition, they headed to Blackpool for week nine of the BBC One dance as it continues for one week only in the iconic Tower Ballroom in the seaside town.

And things got off to fab-u-lous start with the show's group of professional dancers - with some extra talented movers thrown in - opened the show as they filled the sprung floor to a mega musical mash-up. Anything 'special' about it..." @jonnymuzzer joked: "Oh they’re in Blackpool? They should have mentioned it #Strictly." @AllThatJazz_i echoed: "Do you know where Strictly is happening this week don’t think they have mentioned it?
