Linda Robson has given fans an insight into her life during the height of her fame. The 65 year old actor is set to release her new memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth on 15 February, where she bares all about her Birds of a Feather days and how fame and success altered her life.
In one of the excerpts from the book, Linda opens up about her finances, revealing that "there was a period during the ’90s when [they] were having money thrown at [them.]" By them, she means her fellow Birds of a Feather co stars, Pauline Quirk and Lesley Joseph.
Linda explained that she and Pauline were signed up by the laundry detergent company, Surf, to do their television advertisements.
Plus, they bagged a campaign with Anchor butter, which added massively to their growing bank balances. According to Linda, such financial security meant that in 1992, she and her husband Mark - along with their kids - were able to move to a sprawling four-bed Georgian house in Islington. They took regular holidays abroad and filled their home with lovely furniture, expensive lights from London's luxury department store, Liberty's, and cushions and wallpaper by Designers Guild.
