Kate Middleton has thanked the public for their support, after her January hospital visit for "planned abdominal surgery". The Princess of Wales, 42, chose Mother's Day to break her silence as she shared a new snap of herself alongside her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who she shares with husband, Prince William.
In the caption of the post, which was shared to the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account, Kate wrote: "Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. "Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.

Kate is dressed casually in a pair of indigo jeans and a dark jacket, whilst the children are dressed very traditionally, with Princes George and Louis in knitted jumpers worn over shirts, whilst Princess Charlotte wore a checked skirt, tights and a sweet cardigan. The Princess of Wales beamed whilst her three children all appeared to be laughing, no doubt at something their dad, Prince William had said as he was behind the camera taking the photograph.
