Inside Kate Middleton’s birthday celebrations as princess turns 43
Kate Middleton is 43!The Princess of Wales is celebrating her birthday surrounded by those nearest and dearest to her on Thursday, The Post can reveal. While Princess Catherine has spent much of her time at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England over the festive break, she is set to spend the special day at Adelaide Cottage, the Wales’ family home.As for the celebration itself, King Charles’ former personal butler Grant Harrold says it will be an intimate, family-filled affair.“I have no doubt that the King and Queen will have a dinner for her at some point either at Clarence House or Highgrove as the King is quite good at that kind of thing,” Harrold exclusively told The Post.“And William will be making sure there is a nice meal and some gifts and it will be celebrated with the children, who will of course want to celebrate with her,” adds Harrold, who previously worked for the king for seven years. While the mom of three’s birthday is often a low-key event, given its proximity to Christmas, this year’s celebrations may look slightly different given the difficult year Middleton has had health-wise.As Princess Catherine is “returning back to royal duties and obviously is doing well with her treatment,” Harrold suspects that the princess’ parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, will join in on the celebration. The former royal staffer believes Middleton may hear well-wishes from two estranged members of the royal family: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.“I think Harry and Meghan will reach out to wish her happy birthday,” Harrold told The Post on behalf of Slingo.

Royal family’s Halloween plans revealed as Kate Middleton looks to take kids trick-or-treating
If you thought the royals don’t indulge in a little spookiness, think again.Like millions of children around the world, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have taken part in Halloween festivities each year. The trio are currently spending some downtime from school with their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, at their home in Anmer Hall, where they often retreat during school breaks. And while George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, are currently on break from Lambrook School, it’s expected that the family will be switching up their tiaras for spooky masks this week.“Halloween is a holiday that the younger royals quite enjoy,” King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, exclusively told The Post. “The older Royals don’t really mark Halloween, so it’s not so much of an occasion for them.”In previous years, Princess Catherine was spotted rolling up her sleeves and getting involved with the spooky holiday.“When it comes to trick-or-treating, we know Kate is keen to keep things as normal as possible for the children and heading out trick-or-treating could very well be her wanting to keep up with tradition and ensuring the children don’t miss out,” the former palace staffer noted.

Kate Middleton eyes up Wimbledon appearance as patron following Trooping the Colour return: report
joining the royal family for King Charles’ birthday celebrations on the Buckingham Palace balcony. And even though her brief return to the spotlight took a toll on her health, it’s reported that the mom of three is looking to make a similar appearance at next month’s Wimbledon tennis championships.“Her treatment is ongoing, and will be for the next few months, but I understand she would like to visit the Wimbledon tennis tournament — she is a patron — if she feels up to it,” royal expert Emily Andrews told Grazia magazine.Andrews added that Middleton is experiencing “good and bad days” as she continues her cancer treatment.Princess Catherine is no stranger to attending the annual tennis championships. In addition to being a patron, Middleton is also an avid tennis fan and has been watching matches in the royal box on the center court.Earlier this month, the Chair of the All England Club — which hosts the annual grass court tournament — spoke out about speculation over Middleton’s attendance.“Our priority is clearly that our Patron has the time to recover and we’re certainly not going to add any additional pressure on her recovery by speculating on her attendance at this year’s Championships,” Deborah Jevans said in a media briefing.Addressing rumors on who will be presenting the trophies to the finalists on July 13 and 14, Jevans said that no decisions have been made as of yet.“And when it comes to the presentation ceremony, as in previous years, we will announce those that are going to be a part of that ceremony on the morning of the finals, so nothing has changed in that regard,” she shared.Kensington Palace declined to comment. As patron, Princess Catherine typically attends the men’s and women’s finals and presents the
