'Princess Kate more grateful than ever for Carole' as they celebrate Mother's Day
ok.co.ukIn the space of just three months, the Princess of Wales’ life has been turned upside down… but if there is someone she will be more grateful for than ever before, it is her mum, Carole. “I’m sure Kate has been hugely thankful that her parents live nearby," former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond tells OK!. “It doesn’t matter who you are, when your health breaks down, there is no-one quite like your mum to help you feel better.” Speaking after Kate was spotted driving in Windsor with Carole, Jennie adds, “Carole has been vitally important, not just with practical help, but by being there for her daughter and, like any other mum, giving her comforting cuddles, lots of love and sound advice. "I’m sure she is also a very important figure in the children's’ lives.
After all, she is the only real granny they have, so she has seen a great deal of them ever since birth and is a vital anchor for them...
especially when things get tricky.” As for how the Princess will be spending Mother’s Day after such a difficult start to the year, Jennie is sure that the greatest gift she could hope to receive would be getting her strength back. “If there was ever a year to spoil Kate on Mother’s Day, then this was it. "I’m sure they planned a lovely quiet family celebration with lots of cuddles from the children and some thoughtful presents - but the greatest gift for her would be to feel she is making real strides in her recovery, and to be feeling strong enough to enjoy the outdoor life they all love – and get back to bouncing on that trampoline!" While the Princess of Wales has been surrounded by support especially, from husband Prince William and the wider Royal Family, it is the princess’s mum, with whom she was recently spotted in.
