King Charles's coronation will have a huge impact on day-to-day life this coming weekend. Royal frenzy is sweeping the nation and plans for the highly-anticipated historical event are finally being put into place.The impact of the monumental event won't just affect Westminster Abbey but also many parts of Scotland as millions of people throughout the country will be celebrating.
The UK economy is due to see a massive boost of over £8 billion over the bank Holiday weekend- but various shops and banks are affected by closures.It will be hard to escape all things royal on TV over the coronation weekend as BBC One and Two will both be showing live coverage.Coverage begins with The Coronation of HM The King: The Preparation and is followed by coverage of The Coronation of HM The King: The Coronation from 10.15am.
The Coronation of HM The King: The Celebration will air from 1pm. These programmes will be broadcast on both BBC One and BBC Two with sign language available on BBC Two.
STV, ITV and Sky will also opt to show live coverage of the event. Kirsty Young and Huw Edwards are among the BBC presenting team, while Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham front ITV's offering and Dame Joanna Lumley joins Sky.
