Sergio Calderón, best known for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End, has sadly died at 77. Sergio also starred in the 1997 sci-fi comedy Men In Black alongside Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
A family spokesperson confirmed the Mexican actor died in an LA hospital on Wednesday (May 31) due to natural causes. Keep reading to find out more…His Instagram bio reads: “In love with life, passionate of the films I’ve made and the ones on the horizon.
You might think I’m an Alien or a Pirate!” In Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End, he played one of the movie’s Pirate Lords, Captain Eduardo Villanueva of the Adriatic Sea.
In Men In Black, he played a character whose head is displayed on the end of a sword to Tommy Lee Jones’ character K. Sergio first appeared in the 1971 film The Bridge in the Jungle starring John Huston.
