This footage captures the lengthy journey a thief made after nicking a Range Rover from Manchester Airport. Sam Toms, 19, and another man were seen on CCTV at the Terminal 2 multi-storey car park breaking into the Range Rover Sport using a device.
They then drove it out of the ‘secure’ car park before police later spotted it on false plates as it drove through Staffordshire.
Reaching speeds of 100mph, a police helicopter camera captured the ‘appalling’ driving as Toms undertook and overtook cars, ignoring road markings, drove through red lights and almost crashed into a lorry.
