TV REVIEW: We get Gothic with Netflix's The Fall of the House of Usher

The focus is on the ruthless Usher family as it is targeted by the mysterious Verna (Carla Gugino) amid a high-profile trial examining their controversial pharmaceutical company.

The plentiful performances are too majestic across the board to give everyone a mention but Bruce Greenwood - replacing Frank Langella after he was fired during the production - is outstanding as the patriarch Roderick .
