A new symptom of Long Covid has been identified by medical experts after a man began to notice his legs changing colour after he stood up.

The 33-year-old, who contracted coronavirus twice in the space of a year and a half, found that his legs were turning from white to purple just 10 minutes after going from sitting to standing.

As well as the rapid colour change, he'd also reported his legs feeling "progressively feel heavy, tingly, itchy, and become dusky in colour" every time he stood up over the past six months.

The man also noted that his feet would break out in a rash, but these symptoms would go away if he lay down. Images show the man's legs turning red after just two minutes of standing before changing to a deeper purple colour as time went on.
