Sarah Greene set to make TV comeback after husband's tragic death

Sarah Greene says she's ready to make a return to TV after taking a step back following the death of her beloved husband Mike Smith.

The 65-year-old was well known for appearing on TV shows throughout the 80s and 90s, including Blue Peter, Going Live, and Saturday Superstore.

But after her husband passed away in 2014, Sarah took a step back from the spotlight, and turned down offers of telly roles as they felt “too raw”, writes The Mirror.Mike, who was a former Radio 1 DJ and Top of the Pops host, was just 59-years-old when he died following complications from heart surgery.Sarah was completely devastated and overwhelmed as she had to focus on taking over Mike’s business following his death.

She told the Mirror: “Nine years ago my husband died and I had a very big task on my hands, because I made the decision to take on his business.
