Glastonbury cancelled in 2026 as Eavis family issue major update

Organiser Emily Eavis, 44, daughter of founder Michael Eavis, 88, told The Sun: "[It will] give the land a rest.The festival before a fallow year is always a fun one to plan, because you almost have to fit two years into one." She added: "We're already in talks with some acts for it.

However, Emily's main focus remains on this year's success, which saw stars such as Maya Jama and Stormzy soaking up the festival vibes and packing on the PDA on Friday 28 June, and Princess Beatrice partying till 2am at the VIP bar.The final day of Glastonbury 2024 was in full swing as excitement mounted for the main event.
