And, as reported by the Mirror Online, the cleanliness of your mattress and your sheets can directly impact your ability to sleep.With that in mind, Matt Connelly, the CEO and Founder of ihateironing, has shared clever tips to help you get a better night's sleep including how to properly clean your bed.
According to Matt, you should clean both your bedding and your mattress regularly, as hair, pet fur, dust and other grime can build up over time and impact your sleep.
It could do this by creating an uncomfortable sleeping environment for your skin and lungs.He recommends vacuuming your bed sheets every other day in between washes as well as your mattress whenever you strip your bedding.Matt explains this "guarantees any foreign matter won't get stuck deeper into the fibres of your mattress and saves you the hassle of having to deal with a deep clean in the future."If you're using the same vacuum on your bed that you do elsewhere in your house, remember to remove any debris or dust in the bristles first.
