Evan Reid's family launch fundraiser for Paisley community centre as funeral details disclosed

The funeral of a man who went missing in Paisley will take place on Wednesday, May 10 as his family launch a fundraiser for three charities.Evan Reid was reported missing on Saturday, March 25.The dad-of-one had been on the train home to Irvine, North Ayrshire when he appeared agitated and departed the train at Paisley Gilmour Street station at 9.40pm.He was spotted on CCTV on Inchinnan Road later that night but wasn’t seen again after that.Extensive searches were carried out by police and volunteers in the weeks that followed.

His body was finally recovered from the White Cart Water on April 10.Evan's heartbroken family yesterday confirmed his funeral will take place at Old Parish Church in Irvine.
