Kevin Costner hints at possible ‘Yellowstone’ return: ‘That story is not finished’
interview with ET published Tuesday, the Oscar winner said that making the show has been “a wonderful part of my life.”“And who knows, some things have a way of circling back,” he continued. “I haven’t seen that dust trail coming toward me, but I’ve always been open to what I started. Five seasons was a lot for us to do, and I think that story is not finished.” He suggested it “can go on” because his character, John Dutton, has children, “so make the story about them.” The ranch drama follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana, including patriarch John (Costner) and his adult children: Kayce (Luke Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Beth’s husband, Rip (Cole Hauser).
