Dodgy Disney character branded vape liquids among 55,000 items seized from shop

A whopping 55,000 counterfeit items were seized - including unsafe hand sanitiser and vape liquid - in a huge trading standards sting.

The man responsible for the shady goods, Suraj Singh, found himself in court following the operation. Among the 22 offences he admitted was the 'unlawful use' of a Walt Disney Giney representation.

Mr Singh, trading as 'Justt' Vape Ltd, at Overbridge Road, Broughton, Salford, has been handed a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years.

The 34-year-old, formerly of Highclere Avenue, Broughton, but not of Southall, London, appeared at Manchester Crown Court. Goods were seized from his business premises.
