It's an organic collaboration given her that features food, design, fashion, beauty, and entertaining.But when I mention I don't know how she keeps up with her hectic, way-more-work-than-it-looks career, Kim is open about the sobering reality of her busy lifestyle. “I thought I was going to die last week, honestly,” she says. “I was doing IVF and hosting events at night, on top of my regular jobs, and my boyfriend and I are closing on our apartment.
I love to work and love doing projects that are outside of fashion because you learn something every time you do it.” And, well, “on top of it, they're paying me.”That kind of candor is almost unheard of in the fashion world, especially upon just meeting someone, but Laura Kim isn't just anyone.
