American music legend Cyndi Lauper will be taking to the Glastonbury stage today for a memorable and career-defining performance on the Pyramid Stage.
It will mark the first time the singer, known for hits including Time After Time and Girls Just Want To Have Fun, has ever performed at the Worthy Farm festival and is set to be a special set.
The native New Yorker has released 12 albums in her career to date, with her debut 1983 album She's So Unusual becoming the first debut album by a female artist to achieve four top five hits in America. Earlier this week, Cyndi announced plans for a UK tour next year which will feature a gig at Manchester’s Co-op Live on February 9.
Dubbed a farewell tour, the shows mark her first major run through the UK and Europe in a decade. Also a renowned activist, Cyndi has campaigned for LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive healthcare.
