Suella Braverman has landed some bruising blows on her former boss who sacked her earlier this week. In a scathing letter to Rishi Sunak, the former Home Secretary accuses the Prime Minister or reneging on a secret deal which secured his path to Downing Street.
Listing four of the commitments Mr Sunak allegedly agreed to in a document setting out the terms of her support for his leadership bid, Mrs Braverman claims that the Prime Minster has 'repeatedly failed to deliver every single one' of these key policies.
The Tory MP also claims that she warned Mr Sunak that he must prepare for the possibility that the government would lose a key legal battle.
It comes as the Supreme Court is set to rule on whether the government can send asylum seekers in the UK to Rwanda. A decision on whether the deportation policy - which Mrs Braverman described as her 'dream' - is due to be announced this morning (November 15).
