Death of Wythenshawe aid worker who mysteriously vanished in Ukraine being treated as ‘homicide’
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice say an aid worker whose body was discovered in Ukraine was murdered while working in the war-torn country. Former paratrooper Daniel Burke, from Wythenshawe, disappeared from the Zaporizhzhia region in August.

Authorities now say they are treating Daniel’s death as a homicide. Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Crime Division is said to be assisting Ukrainian police with their enquiries.
