The authority acknowledged the substantial donation, revealing that the funds would be utilized to “keep all 98 stations open for customers to exit and operational expenses.” On Sunday evening, the FedEx Field, the venue where Beyoncé’s performance took place, faced a challenging situation as authorities issued a “shelter in place” order due to concerns about lightning in the area.
