Amy Dowden has heartbreakingly shared her daily 'wish' after opening up about her latest health setback. The Strictly Come Dancing star was devastated to let her followers know she had spent more time in the hospital this week amid her on-going fight against breast cancer.
Amy, 33, announced in June that she'd been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and had already undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.
Earlier this month, she emotionally rang the bell as she finished her planned course of treatment. After completing eight rounds of chemotherapy, the talented dancer had planned to return to Strictly after being forced out of competing in the BBC One dance contest this year. Sharing a picture of her wearing a protective boot on her right foot on Instagram, she said she was "absolutely gutted" after fracturing her foot and said: "2023 is certainly not my year, roll on 2024 I say!" Then on Thursday (November 30), Amy has now revealed she's been dealt a fresh health blow just three weeks after finishing chemotherapy.
